I was playing around on Google Maps today and thought I'd map out the route I took to Alaska. Holy Cow! It didn't seem this crazy long when I was driving it! (ok, maybe it did when I was driving though the flatness that is Saskatchewan but anything would seem incredibly long when you are driving through that much flat flat flatness). 4000 miles, moose, bear and more beautiful mountains and lakes then I can count. It really was the drive of a life-time! The jury is still out on whether I'd ever want to try it solo again! If I do, I would break up the days differently and stop to see some of the awesome stuff I missed this time!
