According to the UNHCR, developing countries host 4/5ths of the world's refugee population.
Some of that is, of course, proximity; but I think the developing world has a lot to teach the rest of the world about caring for the people around you. When 4/5ths of the world's refugees are being hosted by countries that struggle to care for themselves?
